Simple Pita Bread w/ Mac! Recipe
Delicious Pita bread is best made at high temperatures. This recipe has been passed around my family and friends to the point that we all have it memorized and it has become a staple of parties.
- 3 1/2 Cups Water
- 2 Teaspoons Salt
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Instant Yeast (one packet)
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 cup water
- Mac 'n' Cheese
- Mix everything together
- Let rise for three hours
- Cut and roll into flat pieces of bread. They can be large or small and keep their shape.
- Bake at 500 degrees for 5 minutes.
- Stuff finished loaves with mac (that’s why they inflated!)

I'm sure that should be 3 1/2 c flour...
Pita bread: before I logged in, the recipe called for 1 cup of water. Then I logged in, and now it calls for 3 1/2 cups of water, then another cup of water. Did you have a typo error and mean 3 1/2 cups of flour?
