Improvisation, Sexual Innuendo, and Croutons

A ménage à trois turns off the judges

Jennifer Biesty and her phallic asparagus get booted while the judges give Lisa and Antonia's excessive improvisation (in which Polish sausage becomes chorizo) a pass at the judges' table. Is arrogance rewarded? Yes. Did Bravo overload on the sexual deviance jokes? Yes. And do most people want Lisa to go? Yes.

In this interview with Jennifer, I mention the chowhound discussion of the episode on the boards. That discussion can be found here: http://www.chowhound.com/topics/512428

As usual, I love seeing people's take there, and see that I'm in the majority in my thoughts on the episode.

I love CoCo 500. Jennifer shouldn't have been kicked off. I think Lisa should have been instead. Come on, "I don't do polish sausage or beer?

What were they high on? I still can not believe Jen was ousted for phallic asparagus while Nicki ...who screwed up mac and cheese...and Lisa who refused to cook Polish sausage? are still standing.....Unfair! Apparently the judging is not cumulative. I guess that would be too boring for TV.

Kicking Jennifer off was so lame. Best of luck to her with her future restaurant plans.

EaterSF just posted Jen's new menu at Scala's: http://sf.eater.com/archives/2009/01/...
