Unless you’re getting your meat delivered to you through a CSA, you are most likely buying it at the supermarket. Ray Venezia, head butcher at New York’s Fairway market, offers some tips on how to navigate the meat and poultry section, and how to deal with the meat once you get it home.

This is great. I have been doing something similar to this for a while. It does so much to add flavor when you marinate meat and freeze it. It also helps cut down time spent preparing a meal when your meat is ready to be cooked up. There is a book called Fantastic Freezer Recipes that I teaches you how to do this as well as many other tips. You can buy it at freezerdinner.com
this is one of the best videos so far. loved it.
While I can appreciate the idea of freezing ground meat I'm also willing to say today or tomorrow. There's simply never, ever been a time when I've been able to defrost frozen meat in a refrigerator in less than 8-12 hours.
