Small and intimate the four of us were quite comfortable at a table where we could observe life on this quaint street through the window. We started with their spinach gnocchi that was very unique. These delicate little pillows were stuffed with a creamy spinach and bathed in a sage and butter soft...literally melted in your mouth. For our secondi piatti, I had the Pollo Involtino...a thin chicken breast that was stuffed with subtle flavors of asparagus, pepper and mushroom and then dressed with a mushroom sauce that had a delicate marsala flavor. Others had the Osso Buco and ate every morsel. We ended with a dessert that we shared...a wonderful type of pound cake with bursts of orange zest. There is no corkage fee here so bring your own wine from home or stop in at the liquor store right next door for a bottle. Service was warm and friendly. We truly felt like guests at this delightful restaurant.-COLLAPSE (by Signora, created October 29, 2009)
