I was in thursday for the seafood paella and it was exceptional! Service was great too. It was all so good that I took 3 other couples this saturday and they all agreed. Glad we finally have a great restaurant in Maynard! (by drmjon, created March 29, 2011)

Finally, I had the chance to get lunch at River Rock Grill the other day. It was superb. I went with the fish stew -- huge scallops and shrimp inside. I also went with the Shrimp BLT -- delightful. The menu was straight-forward but contained a few surprises that catch your eye. The service was great; they're out to win people over.

River Rock definitely has a more chic, upscale feel than the other establishments of Maynard, yet it's not anymore expensive.
