»one of the best restaurants in town!
Cosmopolitan Telluride is one of my most favorite restaurants. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, tastefully done interior, and a great customer service. Cosmopolitan is the restaurant inside of the Columbia Hotel. It’s only steps away from Telluride Gondola Station. The restaurant features American cuisine, with innovative French flair.
The food was phenomenal! We started with a Lobster Soup and Lobster Pot-stickers. The lobster pot-stickers came with the broth, with a little Thai flair to it. Then we were served Cosmopolitan Telluride’s famous salad – Chop Salad. What an interesting salad that was. They bring you chopped ingredients in little bowls; then you mix them all yourself and add a dressing. It’s one of the most innovative salads I have ever tried.
Among main entrees, I tried Lamb, Surf and Turf (with lobster), and the Trout. Warm Apple Cobbler was impossible to resist for dessert. Triple Chocolate Cheesecake was excellent, too.
I've been to all Telluride restaurant, and I have created reviews for them on my personal site: www.gigglinggrapes.com-COLLAPSE
