»Best shrimp cocktail anywhere.
This is a REAL mexican seafood restaurant. The faire here is truly authentic. If you are used to american, $1.99 shrimp cocktail, this is not the place for you. If you are used to american, $1.99 shrimp cocktail, this is not the place for you. These seem to be the best quality shrimp I have ever tasted. The sauce these are in is a tomato based sauce that is no where near as thick as it's american counterpart. The cocktails are served in two sizes and the large is often enough to be used as the entire meal. It comes with onions, avocado, and lime juice. If you are willing to eat "outside the box" without getting crazy you will be hooked. Other items I have had there include the Shrimp cooked in butter sauce. It comes on a plate with this most wonderful seasoned butter sauce along with a small lettuce salad and spanish rice. I believe it also comes with corn tortillas or bread which I have to say is some of the freshest areound. I don't know where he gets it, but who would expect good bread at a mexican restaurant. What you won't find on the menu are enchiladas, or any kind of meat, except for some beef tacos it seems only put on the kids menu to keep them satisfied. One note about that...also on the menu (on the kids part) are french fries. These are outstanding. Worth the side order. One thing also this place has is REAL Coca Cola, that is, the one with SUGAR in it instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup. Ask for the Coke in the bottle. All in all, a clean place to eat that I will keep coming back to. The service is outstanding and the quality is very consistant.-COLLAPSE
