Went to Eats for the first time today since the remodeling and change in ownership. Went to Eats for the first time today since the remodeling and change in ownership. (The very first and last time at Eats was about 10 years ago which should be a pretty good indication of how I felt about my experience there. Now that there was a change in ownership, I was ready to give it another chance.)

My friend & I got there at around 9:30 AM on a Sunday and it was pretty much a full house already. Got the last table right in front of the door which unfortunately can get drafty at times when people come in and out to put their names on the wait list. Service was friendly and attentive. If you arrive before noon, there are complimentary scones for you. However, they are so small that they are more like an amuse-bouche. But I enjoyed the scone nonetheless. I ordered the mushroom medley omelette and it was delicious. My friend ordered the B.A.T. scrambler (Bacon, Avocado, Tomato) and loved it.

I would definitely come back here. It is nice to finally find a decent breakfast place in the Richmond District instead of being forced to drive to Stacks in Hayes Valley, Brenda's in the TL, or Mama's in North Beach.-COLLAPSE
