I've been there half a dozen times and tried a large range of dishes--lamb, tilapia, chicken, and tonight a shawarma sandwich with a deliciously fresh green salad. I've always left impressed and hopeful that more of my UES and East Harlem neighbors will discover it. Service is leisurely, since everything is made from scratch. But the wait staff is very friendly, the setting is simple but stylish, and tables are well spaced so you can converse easily with your dining partners as you wait. It all makes for a very pleasant evening, unlikely to cost you more than $20 apiece-COLLAPSE (by david Kirkwood, created November 4, 2010)
