»The Store Literally Stinks
I went to British Style this past Monday May 30th. The second that I opened the door I was hit with a dirty washroom smell. Even in the actual store you could smell it. I didn't have to think when the man asked, "For here or to go?" It was around 1:30 pm and I was the only customer. Even on Good Friday it wasn't that busy at 3:30 when I was there. How do they get a PASS from the Health Dept.?

I have tried numerous fish & chips in Toronto and have always been disappointed with the fish or lack of it and the greasy overcooked batter.
This was the BEST! The fish was a nice thick cut, the batter was crispy and the chips were good too. It was just like fish & chips from the english seaside!
