Zingerman's Roadhouse is an oasis in the barren desert of southeastern Michigan's culinary scene. Ann Arbor has a better food scene that the rest of metro Detroit combined and the Roadhouse (and deli) are the epi-center. The sweet potato fries alone are worth the trip, but everything from the bbq, burgers, cabrito, fried chicken, and many mac & cheese's are top notch. Ari presides over the dining room pouring water and staying closer to his clientele than any owner i've seen. The service is always incredible and the servers are passionate about the food, the place & their role in an incredible organization. Ari's reputation in the food world is well deserved and the Roadhouse is our favorite place in Michigan to eat-COLLAPSE (by HoogieEats, updated October 31, 2009)
