Recommended: buffalo wings. fried calamari, garlic and parsley fries, salads
The buffalo wings, slathered in a mildly hot sauce, are a huge plate of a dozen freshly fried wings with some celery and blue cheese dip.
The fried calamari is tops. It is a large portion of very crisp and fresh calamari.
Salads are large portion and very fresh ingredients.
There’s nothing surprising about the food, but the menu can occasionally sprout forth an interesting entry. The fish offerings are better than the meat offerings.
The bread there is amazingly good. Slices of hot fresh crusty bread that tasted of a hint of corn flour with butter
The service is prompt and the wait staff very professional.
The room is sizeable, with a bar area in the front and then 2 levels of tables. It is a loud place, with wooden rafters. Enjoy the activity, but don’t go if you want to have meaningful conversation.
