Sushi Gallery Miki

World renown female sushi chef and artist, MIKI Izumisawa invites you to her Manhattan Beach art gallery steps off the Strand, where you enjoy her art while pleasuring your palette with what customers have said is the “South Bay’s Best Sushi.” Every item from the floor tiles to the chairs to the jewels on the walls belong to Miki’s art collection. A businessman commented, “The bathroom is trippy.”
Miki was formerly trained by Nobu Matsuhisa. With her training she has made not only her restaurant atmosphere her art, but also her Sushi creations. Each dish is unique with a special sauce and almost looks too beautiful to swallow, but obviously every bite is un-regrettable. We always recommend trying every dish the way it is prepared before requesting soy sauce. Don’t forget to try our wide array of sake and Japanese beer, such as the sweet tasting Nigori sake and the satisfying taste of Echigo beer.
If special sushi and sashimi is not your thing, Miki does provide original, simple rolls, soups, and salads. To conclude your amazing experience of artwork, fun music, and creative sushi, we offer green tea ice cream and crème brulee!
