»Great neighborhood restaurant. Great price point.

This was my second trip to Gallo Blanco, and I am definitely a fan. I had the cheese burger and fries. The cheeseburger was good and the fries were exceptional. My eating companions sampled the tacos, the chilaquiles, and the chorizo and eggs from the breakfast menu that is served all day. Everyone was very satisfied with their meals. The restaurant says that 70% of the food is sourced locally.

If you are looking for tasty food, nice ambiance, and a casual vibe, Gallo Blanco is a perfect neighborhood choice. Before leaving the restaurant, we went to see the rooftop bar. The view is nice, and we hear that they have flamenco dancing on the patio every Wednesday.-COLLAPSE

March is our spring with an average temp in the mid-70s so you should be fine : )

Gallo Blanco is the spot in the Clarendon, and I've heard they're putting in a new ground level patio too.

I was looking forward to your report Joanie. Wow, you did it right. Now I have some new spots to add to my ever-growing list, and I'm jealous you got to FnB before me - serendipitous! Alcachofa is going to be jealous you had a 40-minute wait for Pizzeria Bianco (the Rosa is one of my faves too), as we had a 3-4 hour wait so decided to go to Cowboy Ciao on their last visit from Boston.

I've been wanting to get to PastaBar, Gallo Blanco, Happy Hour at Roaring Fork, and check out the Arizona Biltmore, so I'm glad you enjoyed those spots. I also like how creative the menu at St. Francis sounds. You just moved it up my list. Those tiny crunchy crabs look like a favorite snack at Sushi Samba when I used go to South Beach - Sawagani or Japanese river crabs.

Great to see you on this trip!-COLLAPSE
