good to know
The praise for the tri-tip sandwich is well deserved. It is amazing.
The cubed, marinated beef is topped with excellent garlic cilantro sauce. The basic version (#8) has grilled onions, fresh leaf lettuce and tomato. It is served on a wonderful soft French roll baked daily by a local bakery.
Enhanced versions can include pineapple and jalapeno. The tri-tip is a slightly chewy and salty but very flavorful.
The slushie-like mango or acai smoothies are perfect with the sandwich.
Pretty much the menu is based on tri tip, chicken and ricotta cheese. There is also tuna salad, roast beef, turkey and pastrami. The menu uses those ingredients for hot plates, Mediterranean plates, salads, cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, deli sandwiches and paninis.
Hot plates are over rice with grilled onions ricotta cheese, salad, cilantro garlic sauce and fresh baked bread. There’s tri tip and teriyaki chicken. These are generous plates.
There’s a table with three different types of bottled hot sauce.
