»Outstanding Mexican Food on Danforth!

My gf and I have been on the hunt for amazing Mexican food that we adore. We finally found a great place, in a great warm atmoshere, with fantastic service and an amazing host.

We were starving and we ordered a great deal of food. We started with jalapeno poppers. Good. A bigger portion would have been better. Probably because we were so hungry. We were starving and we ordered a great deal of food. We started with jalapeno poppers. Good. A bigger portion would have been better. Probably because we were so hungry. Then came the nachos authenticos. Also good. Authentic tasting. Yummy ranchero sauce. The cheese was there but not in a pub way. The toppings for these nachos was in a home made unexpected format.

Then came the calimari tapas we ordered as another appetizer. Calamares rancheros it was called. I can honestly say of all the the Mexican places I have ever had Calamari in....this was by far the best. I wish we had ordered 2 orders of this. It was outstanding. The sauce was a pepper tasting ranchero sause and it was out of this world. Sadly I didn't pay closer attention to the word "tapas" when I ordered this. It was incredible. The veggies...ect.. was expected and great...however the sauce had me wanting to lick the plate. What an amazing homemade sauce. Simply amazing!

For the main course we both had the flautas de pollo (chicken wraps) topped with pico de gallo (fresh salad mixed with fruits and Mango). Ok. This was done in a style unfound in other GTA food spots. It was incredible. Homemade, fresh, melt in your mouth, stuff yourself til you can't move and very very taste filled and fantastic. The pico de gallo along with the presentation was outstanding and delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more menu items. The food was fabulous. I will easily advise others to visit this place. Food portions were also very good.

All the sauces were homemade and amazing tasting. Our host/waiter was so friendly warm and educated on the food quality and taste. I felt as though I had known our host for years.
