I took two bites of my cupcake before throwing it out. It was enough to make me sugar sick. I don't understand why people like this bakery. The cupcakes were dry and WAY too sweet! If you look at the recipe, the cupcakes have more sugar in them than flour. Insane!! I couldn't believe that people wait in line for this.

Magnolia Bakery.

The cake is too dry, and the icing is not sweet enough for me. (It's more buttery than sweet.)

While others might turn up their noses at Crumbs, I think that place makes the bomb-diggity cupcakes. There is a reason why they're dominating the cupcake game!

Things have since changed. Now the public grabs their own cupcakes out of a corner window area, very disorganized, you can't tell what flavor you are getting, some cupcakes were tipped over and hands all over the place. Not very appetizing. We tried the vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, no where near the flavor of Sprinkles in Beverly Hills. Magnolia has dropped off our favorite cupcake list.-COLLAPSE / REPLY (6 Replies) (by MsJulie, created December 7, 2010)
