Bountiful Desserts

Bakery in La Canada, Bountiful Desserts, is just divine.

I tried three desserts last weekend – wife ordered for a family gathering – chocolate layer cake, apple pie with cranberries, pecan bars.

I have to say, while all the desserts are all old-fashioned, no decorating, etc – they are absolutely delicious. She began the business based on her Grandmother’s old tin recipe box, pretty cool...

Lots of layer cakes, roll cakes, pies (apple with cranberries was perfection) and some bars.

I can only vouch for the three that I tried. They remind me so much of what my grandma used to bake for the holidays, family events, etc – each bite was a wave of memories — all warm, humble and delicious.

Great to find a place like this in the LCF/Pasadena/Glendale area.
