good to know

They’re self proclaimed "San Francisco’s Premiere Dive Venue."

This is mainly a bar with great live bands (tending to alternative / punk) and has a nice open patio in the back. Meaning nice if you like places like Zeitgeist.

I would come here just for the food!

My friend's band played there and we grabbed some quick grub before the set. About 4 of us ordered something different and all of it was way too good to be in this little dive bar. One of my buddies even called the Cubano sandwhich the best he's ever had and my chicken strips were not some frozen Costco kind, they were breaded on site and juicy and delicious.
