We tried this restaurant for the first time over the weekend. First, to the good part. The waiter suggested a really nice wine by the glass- it was a malbec/shiraz blend- and very good. If you are a fan of south american wines, then you will be pleased with the wine list.

The bad part, unfortunately, was the food. We started with beef empanadas- the seasoning of the meat was good, but not a trace of olive or egg or raisins in the filling. Plus, they were baked and the crust was very soft- you could not pick it up with your hand, you needed to use a fork and knife. Disappointing. I did not order steak, which makes up the majority of the menu since it is an Argentinian restaurant, but instead ordered an eggplant dish which should have resembled an eggplant parmesan. It was a too-thick slice of eggplant fried and topped with red sauce and cheese. The eggplant was soggy and there was much too little sauce (about 1 TBSP thinly spread on top of the eggplant) to add to the flavor of the dish.

I was very excited to see an argentinian restaurant opening in Indy, but this experience was disappointing. Barely mediocre food at a mid-high price (many of the entrees were $20-35- the menu on their website is outdated).
