One of my teen lads aka BreadBoy loves Vito's breadsticks that are drizzeled with olive oil and fresh garlic and a bit of fresh parsley. We live far from the restaurant and while we do make the trip to W. Hollywood sometimes BreadBoy wants his breadsticks at home. The only component that I haven't been able to duplicate for a reasonable price is the olive oil. I tried asking last week and got "Oh it's olive oil with garlic!"
I haven't seen the container in the kitchen or storage area. We've done tastings at various olive oil purveyors and the only one that came close was $22.50 for a 375ml bottle. Now I know ol' Vito is not sourcing oil that costly for his offerings! More likely it's a product in 4 or 5 litre tins. PLEASE, does anyone in chowland know what olive oil they use?! Whomever has the answer, I'll owe you a slice or three. Ok, make it a whole pie!-COLLAPSE

VITO'S PIZZA. THE BEST. ON LACIENEGA/ BETWEEN S.MONICA AND MELROSE.
TRY THE GARIBALDI - MEATBALL + JALAPENO. THE BEST AND TASTIEST COMBO. AND THE CHEESE SLICE IS SCRUMPTIOUS.
