Rare Grill House is a gem in Peterborough. Big-city-quality fine dining in a casual laid back town. The food is prepared to perfection with the best ingredients that chef/owner, Brad Watt, can lay his hands on, many locally sourced. The menu reflects the seasons and changing ingredients with a focus on perfectly prepared meat. While not inexpensive, the prices are a far cry from what you’d pay for a similar meal in downtown Toronto. The dining room is small and intimate, casual and sophisticated. Attention to detail is evident in everything from the comfortable black leather chairs to the Reidel stemware to the Peugeot pepper grinders. However, the food is the star, and with everything prepared from scratch, you won’t be disappointed!
