This is the best bakery this side of butter and perfection!
Yes, the Flaky Tart is wonderful and certainly deserves 5 stars. Their pastries are incomparable and the service is friendly and quick. My only request would be for some delicious crusty baguettes for the mornings that I don't feel like eating something so sweet. Don't forget their delicious coffee as well. REPLY (83 Replies)
It is the Flaky Tart. And if anyone is considering going any time soon, I think they have summer hours and are closed on Monday and Tuesdays. Don't make the drive and be dissapointed if they are not there. Call ahead to check the hours. 732 291 2555 REPLY (83 Replies)

Seriously, I haven't had one bad thing from the Flaky Tart. Their croissants are amazing, buttery and melt in your mouth. The peanut butter sandwich cookies are salty, sweet deliciousness. I'm trying to branch out beyond the croissant and had a frittatta that was great. I highly recommend - only get there early as they sell out.
