Crustacean Restaurant

Normally we go to Crustacean any time we're in San FRan, for over 15 years we've been going there in fact. For the first time, my husband and I received 2 orders of the raosted crab and the crab meat was MUSHY. Half the crab had fairly firm succulent meat and the other hald was very mushy. Whenever, seafood is old, the consistency of the meat is soft and mushy especially in crab and lobster. Our crab was either dead already when cooked or half dead (deteriorating already) or frozen dead or frozen for awhile, but I'm thinking the crab was probably a dead crab not one that was taken out of the tank and very alive and moving still. I've eaten crab and lobster since I was child. THIS was very disappointing. I think Curstacean having 3 reatuarants has made the quality now go down. We were so sad. I guess the restaurant itseld was very dingy and dirty and the elevator to get up there was very sketchy. Next time in san fran, we'll have to pass on Crustacean because there are so many other wonderful choices out there. What happen Crustacean???
