I have to agree 100% I consider myself a foodie and have dined at nearly every little ethnic hole in the wall in the cities and Gandhi Mahal and The Himalayan are in my top 5 no doubt....I've sadly eaten at both places twice this week already ;)

My husband and I looove the buffet at the Himalayan. It's not large, but ditto what Quince said -- it has everything you need. The down side it that it isn't a big room. If you have a large crowd, go later or make reservations.
We also like Gandhi Mahal. Solid food, space that can accommodate a larger group easily.
Both places have the most lovely owners, and we've never had a bad...+READ
