good to know
Formerly located across the street, before neighbor complaints and eviction in 2010. Now open in a new, larger space.
Unique sandwiches. Call and order in advance, and pick up at the time they give you. Otherwise, you’ll wait in a long line to order, and wait for your sandwich to be made.
Halal chicken is used. Over 20 vegan sandwiches are also available.
.
Dirty Sauce (Ike’s house garlic aioli sauce, made with numerous herbs, spices, garlic, and some “secret ingredients” is spread on the tops of sandwiches and baked with the bread, turning it into Dirty Garlic Bread, and then re-spread on the bottoms, for that flavor.
.
A few of the many sandwiches
- For a Gouda Time Call Tiffany B. - Thinly Sliced RibEye Steak, TONS of Horseradish, Gouda
- We’re JUST Friends - Halal Chicken Breast, Sweet Orange Glaze, Avocado, PepperJack
- Vegi-Elvis Kieth – Vegan Turkey, Teriyaki, Wasabi Mayo, Swiss
- Cowboy Curtis – Sliced Corned Beef, Home Made Poppy Seed Coleslaw, BBQ Sauce, Smoked Gouda

- The Paul Reuben, had pastrami that was cut with the grain so it was chewy and the whole piece slid out of the sandwich with the first bite. In addition the meat was rimmed in fat and not in a good, marbled, way. The French dressing was sloppy and made the bread soggy after about 3 bites.
- The Tony Soprano had what I would best describe as a small tree in the sandwich. A dried, hardened oregano stick in the middle of the toppings. It looked a 3 inch resinous herb slingshot. And speaking of toppings, one bite would be on fire with a cluster of peppers, and then another smothered in mayo and nothing else.
I left wondering what all the hype was about. With the never-ending lines, the amazing press, and the $10 price tag I just want to know what happened to my order? They can't execute a tasty sandwich at an all-sandwich shop?-COLLAPSE
