Originally slated to open as Alma Thai-Latin, Talay opened in May 2008. The executive chef, Junnajet Hurapan, was chef at Hue in the Village (now closed) and the uptown Ruby Foo’s. Restaurant is located in the newly developed Columbia Expansion area known as the Viaduct Valley in Harlem, New York.
