good to know
The energetic chef uses Korean tastes to experiment with other Asian food styles.
Recommended: grilled beef and grilled chicken breasts (covered with red pepper sauces twith many levels of flavors); cucumber pickle side dish (a little sweet but still has some interesting herb flavors).
The restaurant serves a wide range of Korean beers
The staff is helpful, energetic, wanting to do well.
Ambiance is confusing: the food is mixed in with loud club music, overhead TVs showing sports games and/or a cooking TV show, intriguing Korean calligraphy, and inexplicable lighting. The many windows and doors were opened wide onto bustling 2nd Ave and 7th Street. All in all it’s a hurdy-gurdy atmosphere that perhaps distracts from the chef’s creations.
