Somehow the place marker has reverted from Lush Gelato to Tango Gelato. While Tango Gelato was only decent, Lush Gelato is the best around here at what they do, and for people like myself who often-not-always prefer gelato to ice cream, Lush contends for best frozen dessert in the Bay Area. Last time I went I had lemon and creme fraiche, very different flavours but both immaculately executed. The lemon was bold but balanced with sparing sweetness; the creme fraiche tasted as rich as gelato gets. The woman at the counter even asked which flavour I wanted on top, which we nitpickers should appreciate. The only negative I can find is that their sorbetti aren't as memorable as Gelato Milano's used to be, but even those are pretty good.-COLLAPSE
