good to know

A traditional sushi-ya serving traditional Edo style sushi, meaning no cut rolls or California rolls. Highlights of an omakase (Chef’s choice) dinner here at Sushi Zo include seared ankimo (monkfish liver). Dinner is capped off with a blue crab hand roll and a wonderfully refreshing yuzu shooter.

Owner Chef, Keizo is a fanatic when it comes to his fish and sushi he prepares and serves. He only serves the finest sushi or he just won't serve it. The focus at the restaurant is the sushi, plain and simple. It is not about the Chef and conversation, it is about his total focus on preparing traditional and authentic sushi, the way you would dine in Japan. This treasure on the westside is one NOT TO BE MISSED. If I had one last meal before I was to die, Sushi Zo would be it.-COLLAPSE (by usapv, created October 12, 2009)
