The slogan here is “All the comforts of a club, without the dues.” The building is a former Army barracks in the San Francisco Presidio, which was once an Army base. It has a long, long marble-slab bar.
The food here is best described as “Upscale comfort food.” Portions are generous, recipes are simple.
Parking is pretty limited, but public transport is nearby at the Lombard Gate of the Presidio.
Event Facilities: Private meeting space for events up to 30 people for a seated dinner or 50 for a standing cocktail reception.
