I began going to Iron Thunder Saloon shortly after it opened. I was not a regular by any means, but would occasionally meet there with friends for lunch or dinner. We loved the juke box. It was a nice place to go. It seemed they were trying hard to make this biker bar a place everyone would want to hang out. The food was better than standard bar food, and always hot and fresh.

Iron Thunder closed recently for remodeling and such. Upon reopening the class was gone. The menu had changed a little, and they now have a happy hour appetizer special. They had fired the males that once worked there. Management demanded that the employees wear scantily clad attire themed differently for each day. The remodel did not include replacing the top of the bar that had burns on it.
The Iron Thunder is still a bar where middle-aged and older men hang out. For me, I have no desire to go back again. I am a very open minded woman, but at the same time I like to frequent a bar with a little class. If I want women in lingerie to serve me I will go to a strip club. Did they stop to think that their female patrons might appreciate being served by attractive males, too? Iron Thunder Saloon has lost its appeal for me. Gone is the place where anyone could go to have food and drinks and relax. Iron Thunder has lost what made it great to begin with. Class.
