Casual, fun, and authentic (with a few exceptions). The food is no frills, and absolutely delicious. It's the details that make this place special. The fried artichokes are crisp and fresh; the chickpea fritters are fluffy and white-hot, just out of the oil; the pastas are always cooked properly, and for the most part sauced judiciously (the lemon, pistachio, and cream dish was a little heavy)....+READ Casual, fun, and authentic (with a few exceptions). The fried artichokes are crisp and fresh; the chickpea fritters are fluffy and white-hot, just out of the oil; the pastas are always cooked properly, and for the most part sauced judiciously (the lemon, pistachio, and cream dish was a little heavy). I've actually only made it to the entrees a couple times because I've been so busy with the stuzzichini and the pasta, but they were great. I've tried a rabbit and a chicken dish. And if there is a special on the menu, GET IT. I tried a thick hollow spaghetti (not bucatini, though) with sardines and plump raisins. The drinks and cocktails are also excellent.

Attention to detail, great food, and very friendly and knowledgeable and passionate servers (for the most part). It is hands-down my favorite go-to restaurant in the city.-COLLAPSE
