Doña María usually has arepas con queso (cheese) and arepas de chócolo (fresh corn). The arepa con queso is the way to go if you want melting cheese and buttery, salty all-around goodness. Arepas de chócolo are sweeter, made out of yellow corn, and also come with a slice of cheese.
