Nice Matin

Nice lunch at Nice Matin. I agree with other reports that their tuna tartare is delicious. My friend enjoyed the frisee salad and although I didn't taste it, it was very large and looked very good. The bread had just come out of the oven and was a fabulous multigrain with nuts. Our '95 Rhone, at $39 was interesting and well priced. Our '95 Rhone, at $39 was interesting and well priced. The 2 mains we shared were OK, but not memorable, the stuffed vegetables and an OK omelete. We shared a traditional, well made chocolate pot de creme and I finished with excellent espresso. We had a lovely dinner recently at Nice Matin (79th and Amsterdam). The food was excellent, and their wine list is aMAZing (and well priced). It would fit nicely into your budget. REPLY (11 Replies) (by ChefJune, created July 7, 2011)
