Based on your descriptions, I think a really fun place for you would be Nook. It is a little spot, but they take reservations. Very relaxed atmosphere, very good food, in your price point, and it is BYOB so you can save some money (The night my husband and I went with our daughter, we brought in a six-pack of beer).

Nook is a fantastic restaurant. It's small, so reservations are recommended, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in delicious food and its BYOB policy.
