There’s a spectacular view of the Bay Bridge from some of the seats in the back of Boulevard. Most tables don’t have a view.

Will you be dining alone for your splurge meal? If so, you might consider dining at the counter overlooking the kitchen at Boulevard. If not, Gary Danko would be my somewhat similar but superior choice over Michael Mina. REPLY (15 Replies) (by Civil Bear, created November 10, 2011)

I would avoid Boulevard. Their customer service is terrible. I went there a month ago and had two issues, one they sat us 45 mins after our reservation and the appetizers were cold. When I complained, they sent over a "linebacker" manager that told us, to "just accept it, tonight was very busy". In my 68 years of SF dinning, this was one of my worst experiences. I asked if I could talk to Nancy...+READ I would avoid Boulevard. Their customer service is terrible.
