»Best Birthday Dinner! Hidden Gem
I went to La Dolce Vita for my birthday this year. I'd never heard of the place. Must have driven by 100 times and never missed it, but I'm so happy I found this little spot. My husband ordered a martini which was huge, as was my glass of wine. I hate going to a place that gives you 5 ounces for $15.

We started off with the Caesar for two which they made table side and I was able to ask for easy anchovie. I had the sand dabs for dinner, delicious! My husband had the veal chop which was just as big as the chop at Spago but much less expensive. and the best thing I had all night was the cheese cake for desert. made ricotta cheese, really just unreal.
I will definitely be coming back!-COLLAPSE
»Dull uninspired food
I honestly can't say anything good about the food in this place. The menu is old and tired, Italian American from the 70's, soooo boring. Salads are made with limp bagged lettuce, salty dough ball bread is just plain lousy, pasta is below mundane, I couldn't choke down any of the food we ordered. Reading the menu will put you to sleep.
