Have you thought about Butter? I think its one of my favorites in that area. On weekends it can get loud, but I have always been comfy there having a conversational dinner during the week. I was at the next table and saw the whole thing go down. The server was aghast and immediately notified the chef. There was a buzz of activity and, contrary to the complaint, a manager came out to apologize. I thought it was all handled very appropriately. Meanwhile, we had the same server and she was very charming although clearly a bit rattled by the experience.
