Mushroom Cheese Steak Recipe
This recipe was my own. One year i was watching a football game with my fiance and thought wow it would be awesome to go to a football game and tailgate. And he said yes that would be awesome but we have no car to transport anything. So i thought to myself who says we have to go to the stadium to tailgate? So what i did was i got the grill out and had a bag of charcoal from the summer and i fired up the grill and put together this great recipe and we enjoyed it so much. I hope other people will enjoy it as well
- 4 large Portobello Mushrooms
- 1 Large Red Pepper
- 1 large Red Pepper
- 3 large long Italian Rolls
- 6 slices of Provolone cheese
- 2 tbs. Olive Oil
- 2 tbs. KC Masterpiece Steak Seasoning With Garlic
- 1 tsp. Salt
- Before you go tailgating its is a great idea to prep your foods at home first.
Make sure you slice your steaks thin and season them with salt, KC Masterpiece steak seasoning, chop your onions, mushrooms, and peppers ahead of time. Slice your Italian rolls in half and split them down the middle. - Light your grill and place a grill griddle on top of your grill.
your grill griddle should be lightly oiled with olive oil. - Place your sirloin steak on the grill along with the Peppers, onions, and Mushrooms. make sure you separate everything so that it all cooks evenly. Stir and flip it occasionally. Let this cook until the meet is tender and well cooked.
- open your Italian rolls and place the inside down on the grill to be toasted then flip them to the other side (Toast on both sides for about 2 to 3 minutes depending on how hot your grill is) Then remove them from the grill.
- When your steak is tender and peppers, onions, and mushrooms are cooked spread it all out on the griddle and place the provolone cheese on top and close the grill lid down to let the cheese melt on top of it.
after the cheese is melted, place the steak on the toasted Italian rolls and enjoy!
