10 Minute Caesar Salad Recipe
I used to mess around with making scratch caesar dressing all the time but then I found a super quick version that really tastes good. If anyone is interested in making it the old fashion way post on this recipe and I’ll be glad to hook you up.
- 2 heads of romaine lettuce washed and cut anyway you like
- a couple fried or poached eggs depending on how many plates your making
- a couple strips of bacon chopped and pan fried until crispy
- a bunch of parmesan cheese
- 2 cups of mayo
- 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard
- 5 anchovy fillets minced
- half a lemon
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- freshly cracked black pepper
- fry your bacon and let it cool off on a paper towel
- cook your eggs in the bacon fat :D
- chop your lettuce up
- throw the mayo, dijon, anchovies, lemon, olive oil parmesan, garlic and pepper in a blender and taste it.
- adjust the seasonings to your pallet
- put your dressing in the bottom of a big bowl and toss the salad
- sprinkle with bacon and extra cheese
- drizzle a little more olive oil
- top with egg and a little cracked black pepper
- EAT IT!
- Feel free to mess around with the dressing to find something that you really like. In the past I’ve added basil, chives and tarragon. This is really just a starting point for you to get creative.
