Homemade PB&J Recipe

A classic!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- juice of half a lemon
- pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon strawberry jelly
- 2 slices bread
INSTRUCTIONS
- Part 1:
-To make the peanut butter: in the bowl of a food processor, combine the peanuts, salt and sugar on high speed. Pulse for 10-15 seconds until desired smoothness is reached. - -To make the jam: first chop the strawberries into small pieces. In a small sauce pan, combine the the strawberries, sugar, lemon and salt. Allow to cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Part 2:
-To assemble the sandwich: Place the two slices of bread on a cutting board. On one slice, spread a the peanut butter. On the other slice, spread the jam. Place together to form a sandwich, then cut on a diagonal. Serve.

30 minutes for a PB&J? At that rate, I'd definitely make my own bread too.
The recipe makes more sense than any of these comments.
Where do ingredients #8 & #9 go?
Shoot, I can't make this and I really really wanted to! I'm recipe dependent, and this one is missing a step. Egads! Gasp! Help! I know where the PB & strawberry jam goes, but where oh where, does the strawberry jelly go?!!
The title should read partially homemade PB&J recipe. And, life's too short.
peanut butter does not need sugar!
Come on, you need to make the bread from scratch too!
To make the bread, get out the flour, right? if you are going to go to this much trouble with the PB and J, you MUST use freshly baked bread!
