  • Yummy. Looks good. What a wonderful end to the season.

  • Makes a great Popsicle. I reduced the amounts to end up with 3 cups of puree. Yummy.

  • sounds so palate cleansing, and fresh

  • Spot on, girl. Did my mother raise you, too? She always added something, be it curacao, creme de banane, what ever.. AND SHE NEVER EVEN ATE/LIKED IT! Framboise/Chambord on the peaches or pears, too. Somebody stole a plate of simple bosc pear cubes with Chambord once! Campari or tequila on a grapefruit half or orange-onion salad... Funny how terrific a bit of spirits is with fruit. Even if you basically don't drink. And Santa Claus rules: zippier, less cloying, and less prone to produce melon sensitivities like hives or digestive upset. NICE!

  • A little Cointreau or melon liquor is nice on this salad. I'd sub Casaba or Santa Claus for the cantaloupe.
