Pea Salad w/apples Recipe
This dish is great to take to parties, it’s fast to make and easy to. Using quality peas make this receipe a success every time, use the Lesueur peas because they are very small baby peas and they are very tender, they may be a little more expensive but worth it. Cook the hard boiled eggs and every thing else is ready, so about 10 minute prepration time.
- 2 cans of drained "Lesueur" canned peas
- 1 green or red apple peeled/cored and diced
- 2 small green onions chopped
- 1 T of sweet relish
- 4 T of Miracle Whip
- 2 hard boiled eggs dices
- Boil your eggs with a little oil & salt so it will make them easier to peel,
- Drain your peas thoughly,
- Chop your green onions,
- Add your onions, relish, salad dressing & eggs,
- Stir until well mix,
- Cover, and let chill.
- You can also add some chopped ham, tuna or chicken if desired.
