Grilled Portabella Mushrooms Recipe

Difficulty: Easy | Total Time: 10 minutes | Active Time: | Makes: 2 servings

I just can’t get enough grilled veggies. These grilled portabella mushrooms are my husband’s favorite.

I’ve been grilling everything though—zucchini, broccoli and lots of chicken. I’ll be posting a recipe for grilled broccoli before summer’s end. My grill is getting a really good workout these days!

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 large portabella mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon celtic sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Clean mushrooms and cut off stems
  2. Rub mushrooms with olive oil
  3. Grill 4-5 minutes on each side
  4. Serve

  • A recipe like this has been done over and over and over.
Whats with the Celtic Salt? Why not use local sea salt.
This is a completely thoughtless recipe that has been done and done already. Come on.

  • Mmmmm, I love grilled veggies. Herbed goat cheese = win. They are also really good with Gorgonzola or blue cheese. Serve over an arugula and fennel salad with seared tuna and perhaps a balsamic vinaigrette.

  • a great way to do these is filling them with herbed goat cheese. you would not turn them, just leave them with the grill cover down for a short while. just great over a big salad with either grilled shrimp or medallions of seared tuna around them. nice presentation too.
