simple bulgogi Recipe

INGREDIENTS
  • 5 tbs soy sauce
  • 5 tbs sugar
  • 5-10 tbs water
  • 1 tbs corn syrup
  • 2 tbs mirin
  • 1 tbs sesame oil
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • 5 pcs garlic crushed n roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 kg flank steaks or other steak of yer choice
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • toasted sesame seeds
  • leek or spring onion
  • red pepper paste or hot sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. toss first 9 ingredients
  2. slice the steaks crosswise against th grain into thin slices
  3. place in resealable ziplock bag and let marinate in refridgerator for at least 30 mnts or over night
  4. heat large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high to high heat
  5. saute beef and marinade into the skilled and cook until mixture is almost dry, 6-8 minute
  6. add leek n sesame seeds
  7. serve with lettuce leaves, toasted sesame seeds, leek some hot sauce if you like it hot or ye can add steam rice n kim chee
  8. roll the beef and condiments up in the lettuce leaf and eat like a roll with your hands
