Sausage Gravy Recipe

Sausage Gravy & Biscuits – Comforting, creamy sausage gravy and biscuits. A great way to start the morning!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. breakfast sausage
- 1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 T. butter
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 c. whole milk
- 1/2 t. salt, to taste
- 2 t. coarse black pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is no longer pink. Add onions and continue to cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add butter and stir until melted. Stir in flour and garlic, saute for about a minute.
- Gradually stir in milk; bring to a low boil and cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Serve over split biscuits.

I used your recipe but instead of whole milk I used whipping cream...
