Spinach Quiche Recipe
Yesterday we decided to give spinach a new chance in our lifes. This great, iron and vitamin c giving plant is kinda missing in our everyday diet, although, cooked right, it’s deliciouse. So we used it in a really nice recipe “spinach quiche”.

- 250 g flour
- 1 tsp backing powder
- 2 egg
- 160 g butter
- tsp salt
- 100 ml water
- 450g spinach
- 1 big onion
- 4 pieces of garlic
- 2 tomatoes
- 250g cream
- muscat, salt, pepper and sweet paprika
- 100g cheese ( we used feta )
- dough:
mix backing powder with flour. add 150g butter, salt and 1 egg and mix it properly. then put the dough in a backing form. make the edge 1 centimeter high. then prebake it for 20 minutes. - filling:
cook spinach in 100ml water for 10 minutes, fry garlic and onion in a pan, add the spinach, chopped tomatoes, the rest of the butter and 125g cream and spice it with salt and pepper. then put the mixture on the dough. - topping:
mix 1 egg with 125 g cream, spices and the cheese and pour over the filling. bake for 25 minutes (180°C). …bon appetit!
