Couscous Mandarin Recipe
This is a recipe for sweet couscous, what we once tasted in a Czech tea house, “cajovna”. It’s really easy and fast to make and the spices give a nice, exotic flavor to it.

- 150 ml water
- 50 ml milk
- 250g couscous
- 50 g butter
- 50g sugar
- 250 g mandarins (sweetened, out of a can)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 50g nuts ( for example cashews)
- 50g raisins
- First boil the water take the pot from the heat and let the couscous stay in the water for 2 minutes. Let the couscous get a bit cold and then mix it with butter. After 3 more minutes add 250g of curd, small mandarin- and nut pieces, the raisins and spices. Serve it in small cups and on top put curd, nuts, mandarins and raisins as decoration. Suitable while drinking tea or smoking water pipe :).
