  • I think my sidecar tastes better and packs a bigger punch:
    In a shaker place
    2 ounces Cognac
    1 ounce cointreau
    Juice of 1 lime
    Splash of Maraschino Cherry Juice
    Add Ice
Shake until shaker is almost too cold to hold

Place 2 maraschino cherries on skewer and place in glass

Pour contents from shaker into glass and enjoy!

  • Don't worry about the connotation, bushwick. I'll vouch that the guys at my VFW chapter got a huge laugh when we ordered rounds of Irish Car Bombs for our buddies and family members going to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Gallows humor might be the worst kind of humor, but that doesn't make it any less funny...

  • While I'm sure this drink may be quite tasty, there's something a bit disturbing about the name and the "IED meets cocktail" depiction.
